I found my first Junonia this weekend, and it felt as good as I thought it would!

Orange ZigZag Scallop Kind of Day
Who doesn’t love zigzag scallops? I love them! Especially the orange ones.

Sand Sculptures On The Beach
I just love when I stumble upon sand art like this. These two were basking in the sunshine on Middle Gulf Drive on Sanibel.

Whelk-come to the Weekend
I got a warm whelk-come to Sanibel this morning. This lovely lightning whelk was in the water near shore at low tide at Blind Pass on Sanibel.

Sunrise at the Lighthouse
You’ve got to get up awfully early if you want to be the first one on the beach. The sun wasn’t even up and look at the people wading in the water at the Sanibel Lighthouse!

It’s Golden
Is that pretty or is that pretty? That, my friend, is a GOLDEN OLIVE. She is so shiny and golden!

Rainbows and Pelicans
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, shellers! Check out that pretty glimpse of a rainbow in the clouds.

Fighting Conchs Everywhere
This morning on Sanibel, I took a walk by Gulfside Park and there were fighting conchs everywhere.
